feedonfeeds-0.1.7 with WP
I have been looking at getting a blog aggregator inclued in my site and have finally had some time to get this working.
I had seen that carthink.net had already got this working using FOF (Feed on Feeds). In about 30 mins I had tis up and running. Thanks to Carthik for getting the explanations on how to get this working. I soon realsied I did not like the look of this as the page did not in any way match with this site.
I had a look at the FOF site and saw that a css version was introduced a while back. I think that Cartink used version 0.1.2 as the basis of the implemenetation. css was introduced with 0.1.4 and the latest release is 0.1.7 (20 June 2004). I decided to have a go at getting this lates version intergrated with my site and am pleased to say it is now working. It took a couple of hours, most of the time was spend messing with the css to get the look and feel I wanted!
I have decided to give a write up, of what I did in the hope this may help anyone else who wants to do somthing like this. I must state that I have basically redone what Carthik has already done. See my FeedOnFeedsinWordPress write up for exact details. I will start on this now and hope to have this done in the course of the week!
