    Summer is over

Filed under: Germany, James, Karen, Mark — mark @ 13:33

Wow, it has been some summer, and now it is well and truly over. Last weekend was MuseumsUferFest here in Frankfurt, that is our favorite weekend of the year here in the city. Lots of music, lots to eat (and drink) and Karen usually manages to find enough to buy as well. The reports were that over the 3 days 3 million people attended so at times it was packed. My favorite music, as usual, was at the Jass Garden, James had fun at a robot workshop, in the museum next door so that worked well he built a robot and I got some nice music.
But now that the festival has passed that really indicates that summer is gone, the weather this week has also played its part as has James’ return to school. He has been back two weeks and enjoying being a 4th Grader, best of all he says is that he now gets a choice of what to eat at lunch.

    Wordpress theme Redshaw_v1.06

Filed under: Mark, Web — admin @ 11:12

I have today updated my Wordpress theme. I have optimised this to run faster with less unnecessary code and comments. I have also made a few small changes to improve readability ad usability.

Widgets have been activated. this a function now available in Wordpress (they have be available for a while), but the last time I had updated my layout they were not available. So I am really only just catching up.

Finally, like most themes theer was an original inspation for this layout,  if you want to know more about the original development of this theme, I have previously described the previous version of the theme in my post http://www.redshaw.co.uk/2005/03/25/wordpress-theme/
